N1000
The standard N1000 configuration is parallel-connected to the electrical system to provide an attractive local path for all zero sequence currents including 3rd, 9th, 15th... as well as the unbalanced portion of 60Hz flowing in the neutral conductor. Its compact and efficient design ensures maximum performance while minimizing losses. It is equally well-suited to panelboard and busduct installations, where neutral current, neutral-ground voltage and 3rd harmonic require treatment. Parallel connection means that most installations do not require a system shutdown. Other benefits include reducing system voltage distortion and transformer losses, freeing up transformer and feeder capacity, and reducing phase current imbalance.
